  6 Days in Guernsey Overview Flights: approx £200 Hotels: approx £100 a night Daily Budget: Approx £150 a day for food, travel and entertainment for the two of us. Total Cost: Approx £1500   6-Day Itinerary   29th July– St Peter Port and Castle Cornett 30th July – Guernsey Museum, Navy Signals Museum, and Dolmen 31st July – Coastal walk 1st August – Day trip to Sark 2nd August – Day trip to Herm 3rd August – Shipwreck Museum, Occupation Museum, and Little Chapel   Getting There   There have been many Stromfield Adventures that we have arrived a little late for due to delays with transport or occasionally the weather. Never have we arrived so late as to this one, 14 months late in fact. What was supposed to be a May bank holiday trip in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic and this was the first real chance we had to cash in our vouchers and make the short hop across the channel to the Bailiwick of Guernsey.   29th July– St Peter Port and Castle Corn

Total Cost: Approx £900   5 Day Itinerary   25th May – Drive from Sussex to Pontyberem via Tintern Abbey. 26th May – Paxton’s Tower, Carreg Cennen Castle, Brecon Beacons, National Botanic Garden of Wales. 27th May – Driving through Gower Peninsular, Rhossili Bay, Three Cliffs Bay, Mumbles. 28th May – St Davids, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Tenby. 29th May – Drive from Pontyberem to Sussex via Avebury Stone Circle.   25th May – Drive from Sussex to Pontyberem via Tintern Abbey.   With a very limited, quarantine free, pool of destinations for overseas travel, we instead opted to stay a little closer to home with a trip to South Wales.
